Exploring Marche | part one

The first week of April I was invited to fly to Italy for a short trip with a small group of Instagramers and bloggers, to explore the beautiful Marche region. Marche is situated on the Adriatic coast, in the East of Umbria and Tuscany. I was truly blown away by the stunning landscapes and nature, charming villages and the authentic atmosphere. The friendly people made us feel so welcome!

Here's a first series of photos of the first day of the tour, with visits to Valle Scapuccia, Valadier Temple and the abbey and Roman bridge in San Vittore. My personal highlight of the day was our speleological tour in the Frasassi Caves, which made me feel like I was exploring another planet!

For more photos and information about our adventures please check out my Instagram feed @onahazymorning, as well as the Instagram hashtag #exploringmarche2 for an impression of Marche by my fellow IGers. You won't miss the spectacular images of the speleological tour in our special outfits!
