CreativeMornings Amsterdam | Failure

This month CreativeMornings lecture at A Lab was about 'failure'. Wouter Boon, a brand strategist, the founder and chief editor of Amsterdam Ad Blog and author of Defining Creativity talked about the process of exploration, trial and error, and the difficulties that are part of the creative process.

An afternoon with the Lubitel

On a beautiful afternoon in March we took the vintage Lubitel camera for a walk. We went to the blossom park, a 20 minute bike ride away from our home. This blossom park is located in The Amsterdam Forest, and is an important park for the Japanese community in Amsterdam. Every year they have ceremonial festivities amongst the cherry trees, just like in their home country when the 'sakura' is blossoming. People are gathering with friends or family to enjoy the beauty of the cherry blossoms while having a picnic, called 'hanami' in Japanese.

Every year when the winter season is coming to an end we look forward to visit this park when the trees are starting to blossom, because then we know spring is almost here.
